The registration is now live for the 26-27 IHM basketball season.

Evaluation Information (Please note: Tryouts are held over two dates.)

Girls Basketball Evaluations - Location - Claymont Elementary - November 9^th and IHM Gym - November 11^th

PREJV 3^rd/4^th grades - 5 pm - 6:15 pm
JV -5^th/6^th grades – 6:15 pm-7:30 pm
Varsity -7^th/8^th grades – 7:30 pm-8:45 pm

Please make sure your son is ready to get on the court at his scheduled time. Each evaluation will be 45 minutes long, so please arrive on time!

Registration Process:●

IHM -All athletes MUST also be registered online at the IHM (www.ihmspartans.com) website prior to attending a tryout (the day before the first evaluation). All athletes MUST be registered (including payment) with IHM Athletics.

Catholic Youth Ministries (CYM) has moved to a new registration platform this year. Because it's a new system, every family will need to create a new account, even if you've registered with CYM in past seasons. Your old login will not carry over. Please register as soon as you're able, so your child is all set before tryouts, this is a requirement. Registering early helps us finalize rosters and plan practice schedules smoothly. It also ensures your athlete is cleared to play in games.
The player must be assigned to IHM-Liftwood. This process can take 1-2 days.

Jersey Size Guidance: We do not carry a high inventory of uniforms, so we need you to give an accurate size request for your player. Exchanges will only be given if we have the inventory to accommodate after everyone has received the size they requested.

The youth sizes run big, so if you are between sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller youth size. The adult sizes are longer and narrower but seem to be more accurate in sizing. A lot of our kids are at the age where they are crossing over into adult sizes. Please see below for additional guidance.

Youth Large ~ Adult Small - women's shorts are shorter than the YL

Youth XL ~ Adult Medium - it is not recommended that girls request YXL.

Important: I understand and agree to the following participation terms:

1) I understand that my child's participation in CYM sports can subject him/her to the possibility of injury. I hereby release, discharge and/or otherwise indemnify IHM Parish, including, but not limited to IHM Parish, School, IHM Athletic Association, their respective officers, employees and coaches, against any and all claims by or on behalf of the registrant as a result of the registrant's participation in IHM's sports programs. In the event of an emergency which requires medical attention; I grant the IHM coach or representative present my permission to seek appropriate care, including the services of an ambulance or admission to a hospital, if necessary. I release the IHM coach, representative and IHM Athletic Association from any liability for seeking such medical care.

2) I understand that in order to create teams according to CYM divisional alignment, placement on individual IHM athletic teams is based primarily on each participant's ability. I also understand that certain judgements will be made relative to each participant's ability level and I hereby agree to abide by whatever team determination that is made for the above listed registrant. Once teams are selected no refunds of the registration fee will be issued

3) I understand that by registering my child for participation in IHM's athletic program, I have read and will abide by the Parent's Code of Conduct. I understand that any incidents involving violation of the code or incidents of poor sportsmanship / unruly conduct will result in disciplinary action to be taken by the IHM Athletic Association, at it's sole discretion.
